Akela's Council: July 23-28, 2013 (many stakes will pay for all or part, often half) This is part of Family Odyssey. Family Odyssey is a family camp which also offers official training -- you get to eat and sleep with your family, which has safe and adventurous activities for all ages throughout the day. Family Odyssey 2013 is offering Akela's Council for all leaders of cub scouts and Timberline for 1st Class Boy Scouts.

Did you know that you are allowed to get training in other councils? It's true. Yes, it's still recognized by the National BSA. Some councils have specialties in one area and others in other areas. (Just like how other councils all over come to our council's Boy Scout Merit Badge Pow Wow at BYU/UVU.) It really is okay. Below are upcoming trainings for our neighboring council, Greater Salt Lake Council.
